in Southern California.
The entire MAP 2 posed outside of "The Alamo" the platoons headquarters in Al Asad, Iraq. The Alamo housed all of the platoons equipment, weapons, and gear. This is where the platoon staged to go on patrol, completed vehicle maintenance, cleaned weapons, planned patrols, received mail, hung out, relaxed, and divvied up care packages.
